About

About my practice.

A short account of my background and how I came to work as a Jungian psychoanalyst.

I was born in British Columbia, Canada, and grew up in a small town before moving to Vancouver to begin my university education. An interest in human nature, and a wish to help people, led me first to psychology and then to law.

After practising law for about ten years, I returned to psychology. In 2004 I began training and working as a therapist, and in 2008 I started my training at the International School for Analytical Psychology (ISAP Zurich). In 2010, on promotion to Diploma Candidate, I began my own psychoanalytic practice. I now live and work in Berlin and see clients internationally.

Approach

Working in the Jungian tradition.

My work follows the tradition of C.G. Jung. Alongside the practical difficulties that bring people to therapy, analysis pays attention to dreams, images, and the inner life as a way of understanding what is going on more fully.

The goal is a clearer, more honest relationship with yourself — and a practical way forward with whatever you are facing.
